This is my old basketball hoop, but the fancy set up is something my dad created for my son Isaac. I used to have it nailed to a birch tree. The plywood shed here is full of old household junk, along with steel traps and a few beaver hides. And a lot of squirrel trash. Squirrels are what people used before shredders were invented. Notice the dead oil drum and rusty wheel rim; it wouldn't be an Alaskan shed without these. They're decorative, yes, but they also keep the ball from going into the trees.
